Inspiration for my Grandma's 90th Birthday Party

She asked for a Yellow colour theme.
We booked a room at the local RSL Club.
We invited 50 or her closest friends and family.
We had a sit-down 2 course meal.
My sister's bakery made a large dark mudcake for the birthday cake - that we had on display.
we bought a selection of cakes from the Cheesecake shop to have as dessert.
I got up early with Jarrah and went into the local flower markets and bought lots of large yellow and white chrysanthemums.
I sourced 5 round cylindrical clear glass vases and 15 frosted tealight glasses @ a cheap homewares store in Crows Nest.
I got BAD hayvfever from the flower arranging.
The food was great.
Speaches were funny, loving, weird and heartfelt.
There were SO MANY photos.
Everyone had a great time.
Grandma was glowing.
